Luca Salerno, PhD
Originally graduated as a bioengineer, he joined the PhD program in Biomedical Engineering at the Magna Græcia University, Catanzaro, Italy in 2010. From 2012 to 2013 he was Visiting PhD Student at the College of Engineering, Mathematics and Physical Sciences of Exeter University, UK.
From 2013 to 2015 he worked as PostDoc Research Fellow in the Laboratory of Biomechatronics at the University of Catanzaro, focusing his research activities in the field of Systems Biology.
In 2022 he graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the Magna Græcia University of Catanzaro.
He has collaborated in the MacCardio Lab in the past for the bioinformatic analysis of RNA Seq data used to characterize the phenotype and the differentiation potential of endogenous cardiac stem cells. He is actively working in the Lab now to develop his MD thesis.
